I first connected with Kathy when I had an urgent question that was stumping my company's accountants, my personal tax accountant and my friend's accountant. I saw she had great reviews on Yelp - and called her office. She took the time to listen to my question and provide a clear explanation of the tax rules, all without asking me to sign up as a client. I switched over to her firm to handle my taxes from that point on, and now have her doing my parent's taxes as well. She has a great team, well organized, always friendly, and I don't worry about getting my taxes right anymore.

We have filed our taxes with Kathy for the last few years, but this year's experience was so poor we will not be returning. Her communication was non-existent, such that we had heard nothing two days prior to the filing deadline, even though we provided all of our documents over a month ahead of time with confirmation of their receipt. After reaching out for an update on the status, we were told they would not be done in time and we'd need to file for an extension. As a result, we overpaid by a substantial sum, which we won't see until next year's filing. If we had not reached out, it's certainly possible we wouldn't have even been able to... read full review

Do not use Kathy for your taxes.Not only did Kathy miss the deadline for filing our taxes, she failed to provide communication, and most importantly lost us money. When the deadline for tax filing was 2 days away, I noticed we had heard nothing from Kathy. I reached out and after 24 hours finally managed to get a response which stated they were very busy and we'd have to file an extension. The onus was completely on me to remind my accountant that my taxes weren't filed.It was an inconvenience to say the least and we had to scramble to get the extension filed on time.
