After 2 years with stanford health care. I discovered Family Medicine Associates. Clinic - Appointment Scheduling : Rebecca has been very helpful to set-up primary care preventive visits for my entire family of 4 via the phone. She is responsive, quick and courteous. Please, save yourself some trouble by avoid going. I went for my annual physical exam in March and am now billed for $400 out of pocket. I was never billed for anything for preventative exam before when I went to NYU Langone - my insurance obviously covers preventative exam. I am going to dispute this till the end of the world. Doc Norman is a nice person. But with all this unpleasant drama, I would avoid this place at all cost.
I come here for a wellness exam with Dr. L Dang. It's in my insurance network so wellness check should be fully covered by my UnitedHealthcare. Two months later, I received an additional billing asking for $300. And the EOB claim amount filed is even more. I received two items named medical check claiming for $1060. Four items of lab tests claiming for $750. During my visit, I asked doctor if insurance covers and answers were always yes. After my visit, doctor sent me a message saying she ordered additional lab test. Be aware of this medical center, I don't know why it has 4 stars. Just search for Stanford Healthcare and they are averaging 2.5 stars.
