If you are looking for a martial arts dojo more like the Mr. Miyagi approach vs the Cobra Kai approach, this place is EXACTLY what you are seeking. Family-run by a husband/wife team and currently 2 of their black belt children (young adults), Exceed puts character-building and instilling a strong base of respect and discipline in their beginners above punching and kicking. They utilize a multi-tier white belt system that graduates through I think 6 levels before they get into the more serious levels of solid colored belts. We loved Exceed for our son!! You could appreciate the respect and traditions of taekwondo. Master Jackson taught so many valuable lessons and skills. Very family orientated, professional and welcoming.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I was working with my 5yo son on impulse control and thought martial arts may help. I called this place on a whim and I'm so glad I did! My son has been going here for about 6mo and he absolutely loves it. Master Jackson, Master AJ, and Ms. Bianca are so incredibly positive. They made my son feel welcome right away. They are also incredibly patient with rambunctious kiddos! As others have said, this place has the perfect balance of discipline and fun.
