After 30 years I knew the bathroom need to be gutted & started over. I went to see Dan Wood at Classic Kitchens & his design suggestions were awesome. The project was bid fairly & communication with Dan & his staff was excellent. The finished look exceeded expectations. When it was completed I was so happy I scheduled the next project. Dan takes a personal interest insuring customer satisfaction & I recommend Classic Kitchens highly.

When we (finally) decided to remodel our kitchen, we weren't sure what we wanted. We consider ourselves very fortunate that a neighbor suggested Dan Wood and his team. Dan was able to see the possibilities in our kitchen space (a basic rectangle, 1960s floorplan) that we could not. He came up with a design that we could never have imagined. His core team (Danny, Troy, Tim, Mark, Duane, Nate) was incredible. When you remodel, you invite many people into your house. They did great work and were very nice to have around. Also, Dan works with a great, experienced group of sub-contractors who are outstanding specialists in everything from tile to electricity to drywall. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result and highly recommend Classic Kitchens.

When a tile on the elevated tub platform gave way I knew it was time for a bathroom re-do. After getting over the initial shockingly high guesstimates for a master bath offered by other contractor friends I went to see Dan at Classic Kitchens; they did my kitchen 10 years ago and I knew we worked well together. This was the 4th major remodel project on our home and experience has shown that you get what you pay for. When you collaborate with someone you can easily communicate with (and if you're nice about it!) you can sometimes get even more. My home bares the scars of a long life so I had a "Money Do" List of other things to be tended to, all of which were fixed as expertly and cheerfully as the bathroom. Just be sure your list isn't on an infinitely long roll of paper! ;)There is much to be said about a small, independently owned business (especially in the construction industry) that retains its personnel over decades, and some of them from the very beginning. Every one of Dan's crew is a delight and goes out of their way to be sure you are 100%+ happy with the result; good enough is NOT good enough for them. Troy is a master at framing, so much so that he was able to install a new door into an existing opening that was over 1" off square and level. Tim does both electrical and plumbing, and Nate "The Kid" is quick to troubleshoot and fix things using common sense and phone apps. They're all great about job site clean up at the end of the day as well as being respectful of your home throughout the months you'll be sharing it with them. So, if you are only making upgrades for the short term you may want to go elsewhere, but if you are staying in your home and want quality design, materials, and workmanship, call Classic Kitchens of Almaden. I thought this master bath remodel was the last of my home renovations, but apparently Danny, the "Ops Manager" for the crew, told Dan that the hall bath could do with a re-fresh. So game on. See y'all in a few more years!
