Dr. Volpe and her team were awesome. Not only is she an incredible surgeon but she's also very kind and caring. Her team were super friendly making each visit pleasant. Dr. Volpe actually listens to what you have to say and takes into consideration how you feel. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Volpe as my surgeon.

Dr. Lilijah did my surgery in 2021. I have no negative things to say about him. He moved quickly, was great at explaining the possible procedures, friendly, easy to talk to and understand. 5 stars. I think it's a cool bonus he was a founding member of The Offspring, a band I loved. Now that I'm healthy I get to still be around and share that band with my son. I did have many, many, many, go arounds with Ken in the billing department. Definitely make sure you're talking to your insurance before paying any massive bills, because what Ken was telling me completely contradicted what the insurance was saying. 1 star for Ken. I've also seen Christina Nguyen, I believe she's Dr. Lilijah's PA. She's great too. I've seen her for my annual checkups and had a couple phone appointments with her too. She was helpful with sorting out the HRT. Really knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly and easy to talk to. 5 stars.

I am very please with how attentive and compassionate Dr Velasco is. He explained everything very thoroughly, we discussed multiple options and I did not feel rushed. The office staff was professional and efficient. The office was clean and pleasant. I'm glad he was referred to me.

From Bay Area Gynecology Oncology

We believe maintaining our patient’s dignity is the cornerstone of rebuilding their health. The word ‘doctor’ comes from the Latin word for ‘teacher’ and we believe that is our first and most important role to teach our patients about their bodies, their disease and the various treatment options. We work with our patients to develop individualized treatment plans to fit their needs and desires. We respect those who choose to take the ‘less is more’ route for care, as well as those who choose to proceed with more aggressive treatment. When surgery is necessary, we strive to provide the least invasive procedure to shorten recovery times and minimize discomfort to our patients while still providing the most effective outcomes.
