Henry at HJ & Accounting is extremely Knowledgable and gracious to return my call to discuss about an IRA conversion, which was prepared by another tax preparer at another tax provider. This is my first time filing tax return with Mr. Li at HJ Tax & Accounting and I really want to tell my story of what a GREAT experience I have had with him. His professional excellence and patience helped me save thousands of dollars from mistakes in my past filings that should have been returned to me. If you are looking for a trustworthy and experienced accountant at a reasonable price to save you money, you do not have to look further! I sold my house in Arizona for a big loss back in 2014, and my former accountant made a mistake and did not get me a large sum of money that I'm entitled to, over $18,000 to be exact. During my filing for 2017 return with Mr. Li, he spotted the error and worked with me for long hours to sort out a pile of years of my past tax returns. To be honest it was a mess, but throughout the whole thing Mr. Li did not lose his patience one bit and really spent the time to analyze my situation and worked on how to amend the mistakes. Only with his detailed explanation during this tedious process did I start to see the complexity of the NOL (Net Operating Loss) that carries across multiple years and how the mistakes were made and affected me. Eventually he helped me file two amendments, one to the State of CA requesting a return of over $5,000 and another to Federal for over $13,000. So far, I have received the state return and am still waiting for the federal return. Overall, I just feel that a great accountant is not one who just has years of experience and expertise, apparently Mr. Li has all that, but more importantly a great accountant is someone who cares about your finances like his own! Mr. Li's work ethics have really impressed me. I highly recommend HJ Tax & Accounting to anyone who has any type of accounting needs!

HJ Tax & Accounting is fast, professional and very reasonably priced. Budiman (the owner) are fluent in English, Chinese and Cantonese, makes me feel comfortable in communicate about tax and accounting. He walked me through exactly how he'd process my company tax return, when and the price. Couldn't be happier that I am working with him and look forward to continuing to do so.
