I just had my 5th treatment for my rotator cuff tear and the cumulative effect of the treatments has surprised me. My shoulder feels much better.I found Dr. Guan via a Kaiser referral. I'm not sure of the name of the service that they use, but she was the closest acupuncturist to me. It was a lucky break though, she is really excellent. I have been to about 10 other acupuncturists in my life (mostly for the same injury) and would really only say she is the second one that has really helped with my injury.Dr. Guan is super nice. Thank you, Dr. Guan!However, I don’t think just saying “thank you” is enough. I rarely write a review for anyone due to my wrist pain (I hate to type)! But Dr. Guan helps me relieve my carpal tunnel issue with her magical needles.My family doctor recommended physical therapy and pain medication to ease my pain. Unfortunately, painkillers are not what I wanted, and I don’t want to rely solely on drugs. However, my friends have told me about their experience with Dr. Guan so I will try it.I am not a needle person.
