Dr. Akizuki was highly recommended to us by a dear old family friend who is an amazing orthopedic surgeon at Cedars Sinai in LA. He literally said "if I had to have that type of surgery [knee surgery], there's no one else that I would trust besides Dr. Akizuki..." This spoke volumes to us as we know our friend has numerous friends and colleagues (that are also drs) that he thinks very highly of. Dr Akizuki operated on both knees of our 15 year old son who had pretty serious knee surgery at 10 years old while playing soccer and had been doing Brazilian jiu jitsu since he was 3.
