“I've had numerous treatments with Lorena over the last 3 years. Not only is she technically skilled and clearly passionate about both skincare and body work, she is also just an incredible person. I'm a women who doesn't often wear makeup or dress very fancy, but Lorena's approach and messaging around beauty includes people like me. She doesn't make me feel weird for being so clueless about skincare products and I still remember in our first facial appointment I only walked out with a 2 product routine because she figured out something practical for me. Her massages saw me from 1st trimester to postpartum and beyond. We make fun of my stiff back and hips but it never feels like moment of true shame, which I've had before. I always feel better physically and emotionally leaving her space and can recommend for either a relaxing moment or to support muscular recovery. I've never worked with any of the rest of her team, but I'd trust her to only bring on other folks who are similarly interested in providing a welcoming, inclusive environment.“

“I've been going to this place for about 2 years now. I mostly see Kopila but have also received services from Maya and both are fantastic! Kopila has been taking care of my eyebrows for years now. She is thorough and gives very nice mini brow massage after eyebrow threading. One day I got tired of shaving my underarms and decided to try their waxing services as well. I had a very comfortable and pain free session with Kopila and has kept coming back ever since. I stopped shaving cause the hair has started to grow thinner too and just wait until I can see Kopila. I have since moved out of SF but I always make it point to call and see if they have open slots. The place is very clean and relaxing too.“

“I've had a massage with Bank twice now and will definitely be making it a regular happening. He is a very intuitive massage therapist with a holistic approach to massage and body work. His space is clean and has useful amenities (e.g. shower). I also decided to try Bank's waxing services; he is just as conscientious there too. He offered explanation before each action, and made an uncomfortable situation much more candid and relaxed. I cannot recommend this guy enough.“

“Yen has been doing my lashes now for about a two years at Glow Day Spa. Before I came here, I always found it difficult to find the right lash lady. Either the lashes were too thick, fell out unevenly, and/or grew out with painful tugging sensations. Almost always I would leave some salons with red, watering eyes. Not anymore and hence my dedication to this place. Yen takes her time, doesn't rush, and I never notice the quality changes. She consistently does an excellent job. Prices are completely reasonable. “I initially visited Christina for an eyebrow session but ended up booking a Holistic Vibrabcy facial with her after speaking to her about my challenges with roseacea and redness. I've stayed away from facials for this reason based on past experiences but her advice and use of plant based products made me more open to it. The facial was so much more than I expected - a whole experience from forehead to arms and chest with a massage and gentle cleansing, masks, exfoliation, and extraction. My skin was so soft and glowing and I am so happy I found her! The products she used were amazing and rooted in plant medicine which I'm a huge fan of- plus they smelled amazing and added to the relaxing session. Tracy also has the best colors of any salon I’ve been too - and stays up to date on new colors that come out.“
