I just finished my full tattoo sleeve at Thousand Stroke Tattoo and am extremely happy with the result. With it being my first tattoo experience, Oliver guided me through the entire process, answering many of the questions I had and laying expectations moving forward. Throughout the sleeve and its sessions, Oliver was friendly, transparent and understanding. I walked into the consultation knowing what pieces of my sleeve I wanted, but not knowing how I wanted to position them or their sizing. Blew all my expectations away. I visited Oliver in fall of 2023 to consult about a "ink brush stroke" horse, like the ones in traditional Chinese paintings. Coincidentally, Oliver was also getting interested in this style at that time. Over the course of the last few months, Oliver hand-painted many brushstroke horses for me to choose from. He patiently answered all my design questions and listened to my preferences, and in the end (on Chinese new year 2024), I ended up with a tattoo that far exceeded my expectations. I swore I would never get a tattoo if it was going to be a "copy and paste" design. I'm so glad I found Oliver and discovered and artist that wants to create a masterpiece for their clients to cherish for a lifetime. This was my first tattoo and Oliver worked diligently with me to set up my design and carefully listened to all the minor edits, design questions, and general knowledge requests I had. He was even willing to experiment with black light ink for my design when I requested it. If you're looking for an artist who puts as much care into their art as you have for your dream tattoo design, Oliver is definitely the one to go with!
