I went online to find sunset beauty salon. Yuki did a fabulous job on my hair as I requested a body wave that was wavy but not too curly, and she did it with flying colors. I will definitely come back in the future for my hair needs. Thanks, sunset beauty!

My five star may not be your five star; that being said, this little place out in the Sunset won my heart. Simple, clean, affordable. First time in, priced well, location, MUNI J line and parking a snap, I ventured in for a manicure and left with lovely nails. Manicurist Hoang was well-organized, detailed, and thoughtful too. Once on a nail but keeping silent, she could see I wasn't happy with my color choice so we stepped up to the bar and picked something that blended with my skin tone. I started getting my nails done with Hoang about 8 months ago (2023) and she's the best nail tech I've had! She always does such a thorough job prepping my nails, that they stay on at minimum two weeks while still looking fresh (I get gel manicures and occasionally gel pedicures). She takes care in her work and makes sure the quality is high and you're happy when you leave. She is also incredibly friendly and such a kind person to talk to. When I go back every 2-4 weeks, she asks me about people I've mentioned, my job, and other topics we've covered in the past. She's also happy to sit in pleasant silence if you don't feel like talking.... read full review
