I can't believe it took me two years to finally find a great and affordable hairdresser near the Laurel Heights neighborhood. That's what Shi's Hair Studio is exactly. A great hair cut, with a very affordable price. Shi's is a rare jewel in San Francisco. It's now my go-to place to get mine and my family's hair cut.

I can't recommend this hair studio enough. I've been getting my hair cut by Shi and her colleague Chilan since I moved to San Francisco after college in 2012, and have continued to come back despite moving out of the Richmond district to Chicago and various locations around the Bay Area.Over the years coming here, I've come to consider myself not just a customer of Shi and Chilan, but a good friend as well!
