Overall a fine stay. I came during off-season, so there weren't a lot of guests there besides me. I'm sure the place is buzzing during tourist season.Room for improvement: Staff communication in English (though I could always get help from the 2-3 English-speaking staff via Whatsapp). Also there were some celebrations from nearby retreats that caused a bit of noise in the evenings, but this was nobody's fault.Great: 3 teachers (Shubham, Neeraj & Tilak), excursions, location near river and mountainside, tasty food, retreat environment.
Incredible studio in the heart of the Financial District. Staff is welcoming and they don't overfill the classes, so you actually have room to move. They have something for everyone - from faster vinyasa to slower yin and restorative along with a teacher who focuses on yoga for all bodies (highly recommend following her Instagram). The studio is welcoming and fosters a community. The owner is passionate and knowledgeable and genuinely cares about everyone coming into the space - which cannot be said about many of the other yoga studios in SF.
I would like to say that my introduction to yoga began here. It was the first time I was so relaxed after the class. It was very interesting for me to get to know this culture. I was introduced to a couple of yoga positions and of course namaste. We had a very close talk with the yoga teachers and other people about my health. Because for me yoga is all about relaxation and stretching. And with my sedentary lifestyle, sedentary job and bad back, stretching is really good for me.
