Our experience at Ocean Ave Vet has been fantastic each time we've taken our 10 year old dog there. All of the staff we've interacted with have been wonderful - they are patient, provide various options for care, and even check in on our pup after his visits. For our first visit, the vet who saw him came in for his follow up visit, even though it was her day off, to check on him. Plus, their hours and availability are better than most other offices.
Able to get an appt for urgent care on same day. They tell you upfront the cost which I find is more cost effective than an emergency visit. I find that everyone from the front desk, vet tech, and vet provide excellent service and are very professionalI will continue to support my business there.
The vets and nurses and all the staff here are AMAZING! They literally just saved my sweet dog’s life a few days ago. My sweet dog was viciously attacked by a Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull variety) in Glen Canyon Park a few days ago - we raced my mauled dog to Ocean Avenue Vet Hospital - and despite the vet’s normal closing time of 10pm, they stayed there and stayed open until 1:30am to do emergency surgery on my dog and save his life. And everyone - from the vet doctors to the nurses and all the aides and front desk staff were just amazing and so kind and so helpful.
