Absolutely deplorable way to treat new patients. After being on the phone for 20+ minutes, answering numerous personal questions, the front desk person said "wait let me check if we're accepting new patients". Then comes back on to tell me the first appointment is in October. Its currently August. When I suggested she should have started with that information, she hung up on me. When I called back to speak to the manager of patient services I was put on an indefinite hold by Tonya. This Health Center services mostly low income patients and they seem to make it a goal to make you feel less than. I certainly did.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Booking an appointment is a nightmare. It takes calling the office multiple times over the course of several hours to get to a receptionist. When you finally get to someone, they are rude and make no effort to help. Unfortunately, working with this clinic for the past three months has been a huge headache.
If I can give zero I will. My husband is a new member and he is sick. I called to make and try to make an appointment for him. The lady who pick up the phone is not helpful and somehow rude. We don't have the ID number on hand so ask her to look up the record by using Name and date of birth and she said she can't find any (I know they can found it). Then after we found the member ID number, she said since he is the new patient so first slot they have available is September. Are u kidding me? Now is just June, you talking about 2 months later and my husband is sick now. I am grateful next month he is changing to a new clinic. This is the the worst clinic I have ever contacted.
