    Working with neighbors on a budget and contractor for both a 25ft long retaining wall and a fence can turn your hair gray (if it isn't already). Don't get me wrong, I love my neighbors, but this was a 4 year ordeal. Concrete, wood, concrete, wood. Mike (and others) gave me a bid 4 years ago, but the project got put on hold. I reached out to Mike again and got other bids in 2021. WARNING all the other contractors did NOT have workman's comp and were NOT bonded and insured. And yes, they were less expensive.     We contact Mike earlier this year to redo our backyard and he and the crew did a great job. As these things go, we had to make some shifts and changes because of supply chain pavers and we had some weather to contend with but Mike and his team made it happen. A new fence and pilings around the whole backyard, leveling-off the grade, huge pavers, and a backyard shed. Thanks Mike!

    After the late October heavy rain storms we found that water was leaking from the yard and side of the house into the garage. There was also accumulated mud close to the side panels of the house (this was a known disclosure when we purchased the house). My realtor recommended Michael Heavey Construction to help with a drainage solution. I spoke with Michael Heavey over the phone and he came to visit and assess the issue.
