Anthony did an excellent job, tracking the original washer drain problem to the sewer line, flushing the line and replacing the old and cracked flow line. He made having a contractor working on this old house a pleasant experience, which most aren't. Expensive, yes, but he was reasonable and stuck to the estimate.
The one star off was for some debris left behind (some old foam and rubber gloves) outside the basement, which I'm sure was an oversight, given that he worked through lunch and was off to another night time job. Thanks Anthony! I will use (and recommend) Magic again.
Magic has been my go-to for over 10 years. This time, our four-unit building had a sewer line back-up into the garage. Raw sewage bubbling up pooling... I called Magic and Alberto was on site in under an hour. He worked quickly and carefully and helped us diagnose the likely cause of the backup. Great work.
UPDATE: Had another issue in one of the flats. Three issues actually... Alberto patiently worked through each, and advised me of options, how to best proceed. His flexibility and pragmatic approach led all repairs completed and tenants happy. In full transparency, more than I wanted to spend, but I don't think I would have saved much... read full review
