We had such a wonderful time during our family photo shoot with Yiqian. She had so many great ideas for fun activities to photograph and she knew exactly how to make our two young kids happy. Afterward, when we looked at the clock, we were amazed by the time and that the kids had been in good moods so late past their bedtime. They were both in good spirits all the way home, which I attribute to the fun and playful atmosphere that Yiqian created. I reached out to Luma Photos for family photos by recommendation from a friend, and am so glad that I did! Yiqian was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. From the initial inquiry email response to the delivery of the gallery, she was proactive in providing all the details of what we could expect and was more than happy to respond to any questions. On the day of our session, she was flexible, warm, and accommodating (we were trying to take photos with our puppy, which can be tough at times). Yiqian is so talented. From the lighting, to the locations she finds, she is impressively capable. We tried getting family photos on a blustery day with complaining children. I didn’t think it was possible to have gotten one decent one, and then I saw what she got, and they really are some of the best photos we have ever taken. She managed to get photos that look so natural, so genuine, and captured us all perfectly. Plus the lighting and landscape are stunning. We were all blown away. If you’re looking for a photographer in San Francisco, or the Bay Area, I highly recommend Yiqian and Luma Photos!
