I have been a patient of Dr Landers for 25+ years. I wear contacts and glasses and she has always fitted me perfectly for both. I feel Dr Landers loves her profession. It shows in how exacting and caring she is with my eyesight! Thank you!!

I have been coming in for, I have to think about this maybe 6 or 7 years, I think if I actually do the math I'll just make me feel old so let's just say it's been quite a few pairs of glasses. They are the first eye doctor I came to see out here in California after I moved so I have been very happy with my first choice. So much that this most recent time I got my partner to also schedule their appointment at my eye doctors. I asked them how my eye doctor compared to the other eye doctor they were seeing out here in San Francisco and they said that it was an improvement. They even have a newer I machine than the last time I visited so now they can see all sorts of extra detail in my eyes! Also I love the selection of frames I found a really cute pair of glasses once again and sunglasses as well. If it seems like a convenient location for you here in the city then this is probably a great choice :-) I really don't know how it is if you like want to drive here from elsewhere since I don't park but it seems like you could probably park in the neighborhood but again I don't drive. They are short walk from muni or bart so that's my recommendation for travel.

My 5 star+ recommendation for Dr. Landers is decades overdue. TL;DR: If you want expert care, go see Dr. Landers and her excellent staff.Dr. Landers been my go-to for eye care since forever so when I noticed a light shadow through my right eye, I made an appointment for a few weeks out, when my VSP renewed. By the time of the visit, it was clear that I was not dealing with the type of garden variety contact lens issues I'd had in the past. Dr. Landers spent over an hour with me that day, detecting an abnormality on the macula of my right eye (turned out to be a hole) and advised that I see a retina specialist asap. Treatment of the macular hole led to a detached retina and then a cataract. Six months and two surgeries later, my Humpty Dumpty of an eye was back in Dr. Landers's office for a new contact. I couldn't have been in better hands. Dr. Landers patiently worked with me over the next few months, tweaking the correction to minimize my distorted Humpty vision as much as possible. Rosa was super responsive to all of my inquiries. Oh, and the office has a super selection of frames.
