TLDR: Alicia is INCREDIBLE at what she does. Hire her if you want her to help you look absolutely amazing! This review is long overdue! Alicia did my bridal hair and makeup for my two June weddings (yes, I had two back-to-back weddings!) in 2019. Firstly, she is incredibly talented and knowledgeable. During the makeup/hair trial, she did an incredible job of finding the perfect foundation, blush, and lip colors to match and enhance my skin tone and facial features. She gives you the freedom in choosing what type of look you want (bold lip, smoky eye, etc.), but ultimately, her intuition was the expertise I relied on. Additionally, all I did was show her a couple of pictures of the hair idea I was going for, and she immediately knew what I wanted and executed the hairstyle perfectly. Secondly, she is a whiz and is a pro at what she does. She knows the business and understands that the wedding day is stressful. She was there on time and ready on both days. She was very professional and seriously speedy as well (without sacrificing any quality)! Thirdly, she goes above and beyond to make sure you look your best. She gave me a mini makeup touch-up kit that had a change in lip color included just in case I wanted to switch it up at the end of the night. The other items included blotting papers, lip gloss, lip stain, bobby pins, etc. Hilariously, her makeup and hair held up so well that I didn't need to use any of the items! I cried like crazy on my wedding day (and unfortunately, my photos were shot after that), but the makeup stayed untouched and flawless. Despite the outdoor wind, my hair held up beautiful all night as well. A HUGE thank you to Alicia, who made me feel and look so beautiful on both days.
Alicia is a dream to work with! She was on time, easy going and wonderful to chat with. Alicia did make up for a photo shoot I was shooting and when the client was late, she did not panic. She kept her cool, did an absolutely amazing job even though her time with the client was cut short and made sure I had everything I needed when she left to keep the look fresh throughout the shoot. The makeup was flawless and the client was very pleased. Thank you, Alicia!!!
