The new key didn't work in the door. Some small groves were ignored in the new key, which might be fine for some locks, but won't work for others.EDIT (January 2, 2022): Immediately after filling out a survey KeyMe sent via email, I was contacted and my purchase was fully refunded, so I've modified my review from 1 to 4 stars.

Around $10-12/key is pretty expensive (though you buy 2 and get a third free but rarely you'll need a third of something). It also gets sent elsewhere to be made then shipped which takes 5 days for your brand new keys to arrive which makes it less desirable if you need them right away. With that said, the keys do work fine so there's no problem there.

The process of making the keys was relatively easy, and the keys worked in my locks without any problems. The keys were really basic brass keys used in door locks, hopefully the experience will be equally good with more complex keys. The keys were relatively expensive ($8.99 each) even with a 3 for the price of 2 offer. I would have expected a 2nd copy of the same key would cost a little bit less. Also, the time taken to produce each key seemed very long.
