“United Appliance Repair had their technician come out to look at my oven which was not igniting anymore. I paid for their diagnosis fee. I was told they need to replace a part and will provide an estimate. Unfortunately, my oven is a old Wolf oven and the manufacturer does not sell the parts anymore. This led to a long delay in replying back to United for a part cost, which in turn did not allow United to provide a proper estimate. United contacted me and apologized regarding delay of estimate, due to Wolf Manufacturing, and offered a refund for service fee since they could not assist with repair since part is not available. Although my oven couldn't be repaired, United made sure I was compensated and was kind enough to provide a full explanation of the process. I would use United in the future since they have good communication, and great customer service.“

He made having a contractor working on this old house a pleasant experience, which most aren't. Expensive, yes, but he was reasonable and stuck to the estimate.

“I want to say my heater went out, I called around 11 am, and had a same day appt. 1 to 5, around 3:30 the repair man Sahir showed up, understood what was wrong immediately, and was very kind and thorough with his explanation and 3 options I had. I chose one, and he did not try to persuade me to do anything more which I appreciated him listening on my needs as well.
