Professional, kind, also incredibly affordable. Helen did an excellent job removing wine stains from one jacket and stitching a tear in another jacket, all for $30. Helen is a kind and generous lady. Highly highly recommend.

WOW, I'm so glad I found Helen's Place. My daughter's wedding dress was badly stained on the bottom from walking (and being dragged on the floor) during the wedding. I researched to find a dry cleaner who is experienced and affordable. I spoke to Helen on the phone, then later brought the dress in for Helen to check. After examining the dress, she told me that it will be difficult to clean since it was badly stained and dirty, and they need to be careful not to damage the beadwork. She said they will test clean a spot with a new chemical to see how well it works and to provide me a firm quote after testing. Helen is the best wardrobe helper I've ever found/met. I've lived in NYC, LA, Philadelphia, and SF, and I've tried a lot of dry cleaners, most with obscene prices for shoddy work / unimpressive results. Helen is the opposite - her prices are very reasonable, and she's very responsible, responsive, and careful to point out what she CAN do and what she cannot. She is the epitome of "under-promise and over-deliver." I almost didn't want to write this review because I do not want the secret to get out!
