One time I went to a different hairstylist that offered a keratin treatment out of convenience but it was not what I expected at all! Marlon took me in to fix my hair and I vowed to never go to another hair stylist haha. His team deserves 5 stars and more

Alicia paid attention to my needs; I wasn't really expecting anything super extravagant look but I was in awe already during our make up trial and the time of the event, she really glammed me up and I was so obsessed with my hair and make up all night! She educates you during the process and informs you what she's putting on your face so that you are well-prepared. She's very personable and you can really tell that she's passionate for glamming people up but at the same time, attending to our needs as customers. “I spent a lot of time looking for a HMUA for me and my wedding party because I was particular about the style of makeup I wanted as someone who does not wear makeup often (clean, minimal, classic) and wanted to make sure they had lots of experience with asian features & across all ages. I hired Fiona and her team to service me, 7 bridesmaids, the MOB, and the MOG on the morning of my wedding. We had an early start time (4AM) since we were doing a tea ceremony and the team arrived on time, ready to get started to ensure we finished everyone by the 9:00am deadline. They made everyone feel very welcomed and were open to changes in makeup if someone wanted a different color/style that was done to them without losing time. Our hair and makeup stayed in tact all day with minimal touch ups needed & the Urban Beauty Loft team left us a touch-up package for me, the bride, to use. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for the same things!!“

“Mei did an excellent job with hair and makeup for my recent wedding. I went with both the makeup trial and a day-of mobile studio option. I had never had makeup done professionally before, and wear limited makeup generally. Though the combination of trial and wedding makeup was pricey, I was glad that I did the trial so that Mei and I could chat through my preferred style more leisurely and that I could be comfortable with the plan.

Communication with Robert, Mei's husband and office manager, was straightforward and comprehensive. The day of, Mei showed up exactly at 6:45am as planned. Mei has an impressive mobile studio set-up, and was able to re-create the look well and efficiently. The makeup lasted all day and showed up great in photos, and I got a lot of compliments on my hair as well. Mei is kind and easy to talk with, and she was even so kind as to offer to help re-make my DIY bouquet to include some additional flowers I had on hand -- the end result was STUNNING. Highly recommend Mei for your event hair/ makeup needs!
