I noticed a couple of days ago, that a small piece of leather got scraped off from the heel of a shoe I was wearing, and looked awful. I walked into this shop for the first time to ask if they would fix it for me. Since they didn't know me, I fully expected to be told that I would have leave my shoes there for a week. Instead, the nice wife said, "Okay, 5 minutes." And 5 minutes later, the nice husband handed me back the shoe, which now looked perfect. When I thanked him and asked him how much I owed him, he said, "No charge." I was speechless. I left them a tip, but still . . . This kind of generosity is so very rare these days, I was very touched.... read full review

This is a wonderful shoe repair shop; I am delighted I discovered it on Yelp. Very reasonable, professional, innovative (saved some shoes difficult to save), and friendly aand helpful family personnel. Neat and clean and quick. What more could one ask? I found them after having to rescue my shoes from a shoe shop on Irving which I shall not name. It was a mess and they were totally disorganized. I went to pick up my shoes and they were not done. Then they had trouble finding them. I had tried to call all day to avoid unnecessary trips and no one answered. How fortunate I was to find Geary Shoe Repair. I walked in to Geary Shoe Repair on my way to a wedding because I needed extra holes in my belt. They put the holes in immediately and I was out of the store in under 5 minutes. Amazing store, extremely reasonable prices--thank you so much!!
