I found Leo's shop in 2013 when I worked on Montgomery St. He provided the best haircut, bar none, I had had in decades. I've since retired to Maine but, with frequent trips back to SF, I very deliberately time my haircuts to coincide with these visits. It's a long trip, but worth it. The fact that Leo is one of the friendliest and most considerate men I know is another inducement to make this the only place for a haircut in (for me, at least), North America.

I just got a haircut with Leo. I have a short pixie cut. He did a great job and was lovely to chat with. The location is a little tricky to find as it’s not at street level. It is also cash only, but you have your option of three banks on that corner!

I popped my head theough the dopr, didn't have an appointment but Leo offered to fit me in after his current client. A quick wash to wet my hair and then a good trim of my hair and facial hair. Very happy with the cut and Leo is a very nice person, softly spoken and gentle, but interesting and even remembered my name even though only asked for it once at the beginning. Very happy with my hair cut, Leo is Highly recommended. Thank you Leo!
