DSG Studios

The large, light-filled back studio is my cathedral. It's where I learned the love of dance (from Virginie who leads the exceptional Petits Pas dance school out of DSG). The space, which overlooks a peaceful garden, is unassuming, but feels sacred. All of the teachers I've met from the various schools that use the space seem kind, generous, and excited to teach people at all levels.

Amazing adult ballet class with Charles Torres: M, W, F from 8:30 to 10:30. The floor barre is from 8:30 to 9:00am and is an incredible way to get warmed up and aligned prior to the 1 1/2 hour class, which is challenging and full of wonderfully supportive adults, many of whom are former dancers. Charles is fun, supportive, and an excellent teacher. The entrance to the studio is to the right of the main door and a little difficult to see at first. Wander through the entrance down the hallway/dressing room area to the second door (interior) and enter the studio. Mats are provided for floor barre.

The adult ballet classes with Charles are excellent. The environment is very relaxed, but instruction is tailored for a wide range of skill levels. I would recommend these classes to anyone who is looking to get back into dance again.
