Like a scaled down version of big box home improvement stores... but feels local. You might not get the widest selection of what you're looking for but you'll find what you need. Staff are actually pretty friendly and helpful. I've been to other stores in the city where they get impatient with you if you're not a contractor. Central location was useful when I needed to run to get stuff for home reno projects.
Dunlop Waterproof Rain Boots...Today Bobby (special order personnel) and Lionel (check out clerk) gave excellent (customer) service and help me with my purchase. I purchased two pairs of the boots.
Great customer service!!!! I went to Lowes first trying to find kitchen pipes and gauges, no one stopped to help me, they didn't haven't what I needed. Came to Discount Builders. What a difference!!! Friendly staff, associates helping me get the correct pipes made sure I got everything I needed for project. I will for sure come back for future projects.
