This place is a hidden gem. I chanced upon this place while walking into this sign while taking my son to my other barber in the area. This lady got 40 years of experience cutting hair and is very pleasant to talk to. The place is a time capsule. If you want a no frills good haircut for $8 in the year 2024, this is the place. Reading the other review below, seems like she hasn't gone up in price in 7 years. Probably the cheapest haircut you can get in all of SF. You can't lose at this price. Despite what the sign saids open 7 days a week, she mentioned she is closed on Wednesdays.

This place is a well-kept secret. Service was phenomenal, the entire store was empty, and it was generally a very good experience. Highly recommend and the best part was on the haircut. She's got some great haircutting skills here.

Absolutely gorgeous place where the boss lady only charges$ 8 (!!)for a very careful and professional man's haircut (of course tip her please). She was a former Chinese expatriate living in Vietnam and a Cantonese from Taishan. Super nice. It is located on the second floor so please be patient when you need to open the door and walk upstairs but it is worthy.
