I'm an insurance professional who works from home full-time. A few months ago I started experiencing acute pain in my upper right back/neck/shoulder from what I beleive was the result of simply a bad ergonomic set up of my computer desk. It quickly became so intense that no position was comfortable, and it began to really affect all aspects of my life: sitting, standing, lifting my arms up to shower & dry my hair, even sleeping was very painful. I got really scared when the pain began to radiate to my elbow and I had numbness and tingling in my pinky finger. This was my first chiropractic experience ever - and I admit going in I was skeptical and a bit afraid after hearing many negative reports from folks over the years where their conditions were made worse after seeing a chiropractor. A friend recommended Dr. David Hicks and during the initial consultation he seemed to know immediately the exact problem, but ordered x-rays to get a firm lay of the land. The x-rays revealed his preliminary diagnosis was spot on, and after only 3, 15-minute visits, I have been for some time now, completely pain free. David and his associates in the office were very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Dr. Hicks in particular made me feel very at ease by explaining in detail the method behind the treatment I would be receiving - and talked me through the process as it was happening. His communication skills and bedside manor are very impressive. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of chiropractic services. Thanks Dr. Hicks!
I am very Thankful to the universe for bringing Dr. David Hicks into my life! He is an amazing healer and has helped me in the recovery of multiple injuries relating to my spine. I've been having issues with my back ever since my pregnancy 14 years ago and Dr. David Hicks fixed my back problem within the first visit. Will be back for follow up. And John was amazing, he made it pleasant and easy to schedule an appointment with the doctor.
