Erin (designer) and Alfred (owner) of JB Kitchens, Baths, and Design remodeled our kitchen and dining room in 2022-2023. We couldn’t be more pleased with the end result! Erin is very good with colors and materials, and our Omega cabinets, lighting fixtures, hardware, pantry, flooring, baseboards, and paint all turned out great. Erin’s philosophy is to design to endure for decades, not just the current fads, so we know our kitchen shouldn’t be outdated in just a few years.The icing on the cake has been support. We have completed many remodeling projects with multiple contractors. With a storefront, like JB Kitchens, there is more assurance that a contractor will not disappear. Erin was our project manager. He listened to our needs/requests and worked with us to create a design. He has a good eye for color and what looks good together. We pre-ordered our cabinets 10 weeks in advance of demo to avoid delays. Once demo started, the scheduling was done to avoid any down-time. The main 2-man crew was reliable, clean, and pleasant. There are always hiccups when you open walls or change things around, but this was generally handled well working in tandem to solve the issue. We had a new working kitchen within 10 weeks as promised. We wrapped the project with all aspects at 12 weeks. In all, we were happy with JB Kitchens, the timeline, and the end result. The only downside is that they have limited labor/crews so they have to manage the number of projects they can take and schedule. This is similar to most contractors. In regards to negative reviewers mention of a paid home visit and design plan owned by the store unless you move forward, I find this to be reasonable and was explained in advance.
