About West Coast Martial Arts Academy
The West Coast Martial Arts Academy (WCMAA) has been a fixture in the 4S Ranch and Rancho Bernardo communities for the past 10 years. Founded by five black belt instructors, the academy has evolved into a fun, family-filled environment for both kids and adults. The WCMAA community is dedicated to teaching martial arts and improving the local community. The primary martial art style taught is Kajukenbo, America's first mixed martial art, which continues to evolve since its creation in Hawaii. Kajukenbo provides an excellent way to stay fit and healthy, as well as effective self-defense techniques. The academy's kid's classes are divided by age and rank, with a specialized curriculum for each group. WCMAA offers a free trial class, inviting new students to experience the well-structured lessons that combine traditional martial arts with practical self-defense. Reviewers praise the skilled, patient, and dedicated instructors who foster a positive learning environment. The sense of community among students adds to the overall experience, making WCMAA a highly recommended choice for those seeking effective martial arts training in a supportive and welcoming setting. The academy also hosts birthday parties, providing a private, safe, and fun space for activities. Experienced instructors ensure the events are well-organized, allowing parents to relax and enjoy the party.
We love all of the instructors here! They are friendly and want each child to succeed to the best of their ability.
