Ms. Shani is a phenomenal human being. She listens to understand what YOUR vision is for your hair adventure and then magically transforms your dreams into reality. You're always greeted with a smile, enjoy engaging conversation with a genuine person, and you walk away with a magnificent hairstyle, an affirmation, and a hug. She's a unicorn among stylists and I feel blessed to have found this salon.

[typically don't leave reviews, but after my experience here at the salon, I had to. My experience here and with yukimi has been the best experience l've ever had at a hair salon. She is an absolute sweetheart that genuinely loves what she does. She makes you feel very comfortable and takes time with you to make sure you understand what she's doing. I have curly hair and came in here for a cut and help with my curls, and she did absolutely just that. I left the salon happier than ever and love the way my hair looks. I always have felt that getting your hair done is a form of self-care, and during that appointment, you should feel relaxed, comfortable, and leaving the salon, feeling confident and obsessed with the results and Yukimi did that for me!! totally give this salon a try-especially if you want to fall in love with your curls again

I went to urban roots to see if the stylist could fix my last sad excuse for a haircut. I saw Yukimi and she saved me! In under an hour she turned my sad, limp hair into a beautiful layered masterpiece. I am so thankful that I found this gem of a salon.
