I'm not sure if it's the office or the Doctor but this place can not keep a schedule. UCSD asks you to arrive for appointments 15 minutes early (why?) and has a strict 5-minute late rule where they reschedule you if you are late (I wasn't but asked about their policy). They need to turn that rule around on themselves. In my last 3 visits to UCSD Dermatology, I showed up early each time and each time they did not grab me from the waiting room until at least 20 minutes after my scheduled time. I recommend you look elsewhere for a dermatologist.I got a referral from my primary care's office which is part of the UCSD system, not some 3rd party that's only affiliated with UCSD. I still had to call dermatology separately to make my appt. Inconvenient but I guess that's standard for UCSD. I called in March to make my appointment. Next availability is in December. That's a 9 month wait. That's worth 1 star in my book.
Pregnant with 2 kids under 2 arrived 10 mins late and apparently they have a 5 minute grace period. No parking or must pay valet. I took months to get an appointment. Very disappointed
