UC San Diego Health Dermatology – La Jolla

I'm not sure if it's the office or the Doctor but this place can not keep a schedule. UCSD asks you to arrive for appointments 15 minutes early (why?) and has a strict 5-minute late rule where they reschedule you if you are late (I wasn't but asked about their policy). They need to turn that rule around on themselves. In my last 3 visits to UCSD Dermatology, I showed up early each time and each time they did not grab me from the waiting room until at least 20 minutes after my scheduled time. Been going here for 5 years but ive finally had enough. Always put up with the horrible scheduling because I liked the doctor. The lack of response from dermatologist and his staff when needed an answer was the last straw. Note the receptionists are all friendly thoughFyi - This is the first time ive had a question about a treatment that i asked. So, im not a needy patient.

The entire staff at the University Ambulatory Surgery Center in Suite 103 is incredible. I was soo nervous about my surgery having a bad experience in the past, but all of their staff made me feel soo comfortable and safe. My nurse Chelsea in recovery was soo amazing, kind, patient, tender and funny. She made my otherwise painful recovery a lot more easy with her great attitude and energy. I loved the staff soo much that I made them cookies when I was feeling better and able to get up and move around. When I delivered them to Chelsea, her kindness continued by asking how I was post op, if I had any questions and even asked for a hug at the end of our meeting. I was delighted... read full review
