I started taking seniors adult tap class with Larisa via Zoom last June and began in person classes at the studio the end of August. What a gas!! The warmup music rocks my very soul - Oldies but Goodies! Larisa’s instruction is clear and caters to each dancer as needed; the combinations flow and the choreography is really fun! There is also focus on history and tradition of tap - we are currently learning the Honi-Atkins Soft Shoe! And the Shim Shim - the National Anthem of tap dance - shimmies on thanks to its emphasis by Tap Fever! Opportunities to perform (if you so desire) are about having fun and spreading the joy of dance. I definitely have the Tap Fever! I have to say this fever is contagious - the connections with other tap dancers is just the best!! Thanks Larisa - way to tap on Tap Fever!!!

Tap Fever Studios provides accessible dance opportunities to people of all ages, with and without disabilities. We empower students to achieve their goals through the performing arts. Dance classes include Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Cardio, Stretching, and more for all ages of toddlers, kids, children, youth, teens, adults and seniors. All levels from beginner to advanced with any abilities to include adaptive classes. Individual one-on-one sessions as well as scholarships available. We partner with local organizations to promote local businesses and provide dance opportunities to everyone in our community. Come join us for one class or a full trimester and dance recital! Anyone can dance if given the chance!
