It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to have found Carla and Tailor Love to alter my wedding gown. My dress had to be ordered three sizes larger than my normal size and I was worried it would be an issue since the bodice was boned and very structured. Carla meticulously tailored my gown to PERFECTION - I've never had anything fit so amazingly in my life. Many guests told me my gown fit me like it was made for me and in a way, Carla made it that way. Her pricing was incredibly fair for the product and quality she delivers. Carla is absolutely wonderful! We decided to get married less than 6 months after getting engaged so I received my wedding dress only 3 months before the wedding. The bridal salon recommended Tailor Love so I called and Carla said that if I could come in that week for my first fitting she could get it done in time. As soon as I put on the dress she knew exactly what alterations to make (shorten straps, take in the waist, hem the bottom). She showed me three different bustle options to choose from. We had two more fittings after that (one to make sure her alterations were correct before she added the bustle and silicone pads under the straps to make them more comfortable... read full review
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND! I took my wedding dress in for alterations and had such a great experience. Carla took the time to listen to everything I wanted with my dress and made some great suggestions. My dress had so many layers to it and was worries to find someone that I trusted to do a great job with it and Carla was amazing. She kept me updated throughout the process and we met with enough meetings and time to get my dress perfect. She also did my maid of honor and flower girl dress and she nailed both as well. So glad to have used Tailor Love and will continue to use them for all my tailoring needs!
