Was going to get solar before the prices went sky high. I was very impressed with how they kept in touch during the process. Deducted one star for the roof inspector who wanted to cut corners and not replace wood that was obviously not up to code. (Another roofer explained that the boards weren't thick enough and needed to be replaced.) I watched as my roof flexed underneath this guy's feet, and then he wanted to charge more than the other roofers who were more thorough, and willing to replace everything, where as this roofer only wanted to shingle right on top of what I had and only reinforce the wood where the panels needed to go. Well, I'm sorry not sorry. A solid roof is essential!

Schools Solar came through on my solar install. When going through the vetting process I interviewed three companies (Schools Solar, Baker, and Sunrun). Schools Solar was the most competitively priced, professional and courteous of my time. One of his competitors literally took hours running through her sells pitch vs Fernando at Schools Solar got right to the point, laid out my options and gave me pricing options. He took an hour tops. His installers were on point as well. They hit all of their milestones and always kept me in the know. Their install was top notch as well, they even painted their conduit to match my roof and stucco siding. I'm 110% happy with using Schools Solar and even happier with no SDGE bill.
