    Hannah Doughty-My first experience lifting was with Hannah, and I could not have asked for a better introduction. She came up with several detailed plans for me to choose from to suit my specific goals and schedule. She gave me thoughtful advice on everything I asked about that would affect my training goals, from nutrition to number of sets and even sleep.Furthermore, Hannah is one of the most encouraging and inspiring people I have met, period. She is not just well-versed on the technical details of physical training, she is a gifted coach. It's easy to forget how important this is, especially when you are glancing through different businesses and don't really know the trainers you're considering. But a training plan is only valuable as long as you engage with it, and Hannah has the passion and care to keep you moving toward your goals.I cannot recommend Hannah enough as a physical trainer. She is deeply knowledgable, inspiring, sensitive to her trainees needs, and an all-around fantastic girl. I haven't checked out any other trainers, but I have no desire to after my experience with Hannah. Whether you're trying to lose a little weight, build strength, or get into the best shape of your life--Hannah is your trainer..Take it from someone who has spent many months under Hannah's guidance and swoop her up while you can.

    I recently decided to get into better shape after a shoulder surgery and found San Diego Fitness. I started with Jay in early January 2023 and he is a great trainer. I told him about my health issues and he listened and did his own research to better understand my health issues and find exercises that work best for me. He was very willing to work with me and any limitations that I had, which I greatly appreciate. He communicates well and is always willing to answer my questions. He asks for feedback after completing an exercise set and wants to know my thoughts on the amount of weight and reps. He wants to see good form and shows me the correct way to do an exercise/lift first. I also like the check-ins with him the next day to see how I am doing. He definitely puts the client first and is always encouraging me to do my best and get the most out of the workout.The gym is in a good location and always clean with lots of equipment, cardio, free weights and it also has an outside area for training. It has three bathrooms with full showers and supplies, which is a nice feature. Great place!
