This salon has gone down dramatically in my view. They used to be located near the Food for Less in Hazard Center before the pandemic, in a nice space with a front reception, lots of stations, wine and flavored water for customers, and a variety of services including massages. I think their business model has changed now to cut costs, which is understandable. They moved to a new location in an older building in Mission Valley. They no longer have a reception team so you have to book appointments with each independent stylist, who sometimes get back to you quickly, but sometimes cancel at the last minute. Carol Galeno at Pure Salon is pure gold. My 15 year old has been so adventurous with her hair styles and Carol is always able to find a new idea to bring it all together. I consistently get complemented on my cut and color and I always refer them to Carol. She's efficient and good so you are not sitting here for 3 hours getting your hair done. With my busy schedule I rely on that.

I was able to get an appointment last minute and Remy did a great job. I told her what I wanted and she cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it and she was really kind too. I never really like ym haircuts but I'm very happy with this one.
