“I recently had the pleasure of using Raise the Wuff mobile dog grooming service for my first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, everything was incredibly convenient and professional.
My dog, Roxy, is a senior dog and usually gets nervous at traditional grooming salons, but having the groomer come to our home made such a difference. She was calm throughout the entire process, thanks to the groomer’s gentle approach and care.
The trailer was clean and well-equipped, and I loved being able to watch from the iPad to ensure Roxy was comfortable.
If you’re looking for an stress-free, convenient, and professional grooming experience for your dog, I highly recommend Charity! I’ve already booked my next appointment with her.“
“This is hands down the best doggy day care and overnight boarding in San Diego. Our 2 rescue pups have come here several times over the last few years, for as long as 6 nights, and every time I’m blown away by the level of care provided.
One of our dogs is super friendly, while the other is much more shy and still getting used to strangers and other dogs. Our shy dog needs to be with her sister at all times, and isn’t always the best at communicating her feelings - and Dog Days always provides us with thorough updates on how she’s doing and accommodates her little quirks (like needing to be in the small dog area despite being 50 pounds, ha) to make sure she’s doing well & that all the other dogs are comfortable too.
We’ve also used their transportation drop off service, and there was a hiccup once where our shy dog was having some barrier aggression when getting into the van. Rather than throwing their hands up and asking us to come get her, DD gave her and her sister a PRIVATE ride home - we were obviously a bit mortified but so relieved that DD handled the situation so well for all dogs involved. They gave us a robust rundown of the situation and recommendations for how to handle similar issues in the future.
And whenever we call to check in as anxious dog parents, they always give us detailed notes on their behavior and health as well. We also love that they have extracurriculars for the dogs, like hiking outings, too!
Dog Days is truly the most professional level of dog care you can get in San Diego - and while the rates do reflect that, it’s absolutely worth the peace of mind. Ziggy and Nova say thank you!!“
“People who work here are friendly. It's so nice to get our dog cleaned up here after a fun day at Dog Beach. Definitely worth a visit“
“Very professional, excellent customer service.
Wort the 3 hours drive from home . Going back as much as my pets needed. Definitely recommend“
“I love using the self-service pet wash here. The owners keep it extremely clean, and the products make my dog feel and look amazing. Highly recommend the self-service pet wash.“
“Mo was the first groomer we ever took our mini aussie Achilles to. As Achilles was our first dog Mo really set the standard for us for grooming. While we always appreciated how kind, efficient, and detailed Mo was with Achilles' groom, it wasn't until we moved across the country and had to start looking for and seeing a new groomer we realized how truly above and beyond Mo goes for his clients.
Everything about The Barking Lot of Hillcrest and Mo is just a cut above the rest. Booking an appointment is easy and efficient online and drop-off and pick-up for the appointment is just as easy. We would drop Achilles off at the time of his appointment and 30 minutes to an hour later Mo would text us letting us know he was ready to be picked up. It was really nice not having to worry about Achilles waiting there for a long time or dealing with pickup and drop-off times hours apart. Once we picked Achilles up, he walked out of there strutting like a new dog looking, smelling, and feeling amazing. He was always given the cutest cut and his nails were so well trimmed.
We miss The Barking Lot of Hillcrest and Mo so much and could not recommend them more for anyone who is in the San Diego area.“
“I had such a good experience here! My dog Tuna has a double coat, and unfortunately we've had our fair share of experiences where groomers shave her when I ask them not to. Jamie was extremely kind and asked lots of questions, she even texted me to make sure the length was okay while she was grooming! 10/10 experience, will definitely bring Tuna back. I will note that the parking lot is a little tight, but there is street parking if the lot is full!“
“I started bringing my pups to Pupper Club and love their daycare for my little one. I also started grooming services and she looks adorable. 5 Stars! Love Pupper Club!“
“Wow! This is the most professional and amazing groomer we have ever been to. After a lifetime of going to the groomer every two weeks our 15 year old Malshi suddenly decided she does not tolerate groomers anymore. She is going deaf and blind and is just having a hard time, so long story short we have been trying to find a new groomer that could cater to her spicy senior demeanor. We saw a video of Logan the groomer grooming a spicy dog on social media and immediately made an appointment same day. To say we were relieved and impressed would be an understatement. Beginning to end, booking to pick up the experience was 100/10. The staff is so kind and patient. They took the time to go over our senior's quirks before the appointment and by some miracle were able to groom her completely. They did a wonderful job and she didn't seem stressed at all upon pick-up. Will be back and highly recommend for senior dogs needing special care.“
“I recently adopted a rescue cat who had been abandoned after his person passed. The cat had been living on the street for over 10 years in a vacant lot of the Mission District in San Francisco. Since April of this year he has been living with me in San Diego and acclimating quite well.
Now that he has settled in I needed to get his nails trimmed to make sure they didn't grow into his paw pads and to give him better traction. I started searching for mobile pet groomers and found Eduardo via Private Mobile Grooming.
Eduardo was able to come to my place within an hour of speaking to him over the phone, and was able to guide me through the best approach to get my cat safely secured so the nails could be trimmed. The whole process took no more than about 10 minutes from the moment Eduardo arrived to when he was done and the nails were trimmed!
I was totally amazed and grateful for Eduardo's peaceful demeanor and approach and for his skill and guidance! I will be scheduling another appointment with Eduardo the next time my cat's nails are ready to be trimmed!
I highly and strongly recommend this grooming business and Eduardo!
Thank you!“
“Destiny and Anthony are great. I've got one very nervous cockapoo and I'm so happy to have the consistent care they give my kids. They always look great with little input from me, I trust their expertise.“
“I really got the impression that the staff cared about my kitty and were very kind to my scared boy“
“It was quiet for a Friday night, but had a lot of potential to be a great hangout spot. Food options are limited to fried food and some of the beers ran out on their taps. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends as they have TVs at every direction and plenty of tabletop games to enjoy. Plus the amount of dogs that are there was very enjoyable to watch as a non-dog owner.“
“I used Finest City Dog Training (Jessica is AMAZING) for my new puppy. She referred me to Shannon for pet sitting. I had to go out of town for four days, and my Pup was only four months old, I almost canceled…. Until I met Shannon! We had a meet and greet and I could immediately tell she was a very loving dog person! My puppy stayed with her for four days. I received pictures and a report each day, he had a fabulous time! Shannon brought him in to her home and treated him like a part of her family. It was very comforting knowing that he was in good hands while I was so far away, I will definitely use her again and again and again!“
“Absolutely the best animal hospital in San Diego county. Amazing, tentative staffing. Dr. Morizi is a caring, gentle & extremely experienced in his field. With over 20 yrs + experience. I have been taking my fur babies to him for many years! Eventhough I know live an hour north of SD I take my babies to him! Very honest man!“
“Second grooming \\u0026 my Lil Nugget Bruno looks amazing again! Mariley is my go to from now on ?❤️?“
“Amazing groomer:) fast and efficient. My sweet boy, Toby smells and looks so good and was very happy when I picked him up. we will definitely be back. Thank you !“
“My babies were taken care of so well, I really love the one on one grooming they received. They got a nice bath, ears cleaned, paws scrubbed, cologne for him and perfume for her along with other services done. They smelled so good after and every service was done perfectly. I found my new grooming spot and my babies were so happy to be there. A very big plus for me was pictures and updates so my worry free self could be at peace while I was away from them. I recommend DaPawSpa 10/10“
“They always responded very fast and politely. Very personable and friendly service to help make sure you and your pet are comfortable with the environment and groomers. Nice change from the typical drop off and leave experience like other places.“
“So grateful for such an amazing, customizable service! Karimah did a fabulous job cleaning up my large GSD/Husky. I'll definitely be calling her again!“
“I’ve been taking my dog to Tessa for about 6 years. She always does such an amazing job.“
“Great place to bring your Pets. Docter is great and staff is amazing. Clean office too. Very compassionate. We found our new Vet for sure. Thanks for helping Milo and Apollo get better!“
“Great owner (Dina) and great service! Had the longest bully stick I’ve ever seen in my life; offered free nail trimming; overall great atmosphere!“
“Zero stars.... DO NOT take your dog here
This lady is so rude and mistreats dogs. There is a high powered blow drier that hits your dogs ear for about 15 minutes and she doesn't care... she uses cold water and if I wasn't there this old woman would have been hitting my dog when he reacted to her hurting the dog. She was not allowed to finish the grooming! I took my dog out of there asap. Do not trust her with your fur pets if you love and care about them. Not to mention the hard metal comb she scrapes on their dry fur to take out the tangles with out detangling shampoo or spray. I am truly sorry I ever took my pup there to begin with. She is rude and called me dramatic and over reacting when I told her to stop the grooming. I almost felt like she would have gotten physical with me too. DO NOT GO HERE!“
“I moved my 2/3 pug 1/3 pittie-boxer foster fail love bug (Juan Pablo) from Camp-Run-A-Mutt to Paw Commons for doggy daycare.
Paw Commons has by far been the better experience for our pup. First, there is way more space, a great water feature where the dogs who want to get wet can frolic, and there are way fewer dogs (or simply just way more space for them).
My pup stopped wanting to get out of the car at the former place where at Paw Commons, he is super excited to go and jumps happily out of the car when we arrive.
This speaks volumes of the difference in experience he had. The humans at both places are professional and kind, it just seems like the dogs have a little more room to play, jump up on various things, hide under things and of course engage in water play if they want. 10/10. The owner of Paw Commons is very passionate about providing an amazing experience for the dogs. Perhaps something about being a franchise like Camp-Run-A-Mutt they need to get as many dogs as possible crammed in on any given day.
Attached is a screenshot from the live cam where JP was walking precariously close to the water (which he generally hates, lol) and a pic of our very happy, tired boy when he got home.“
