I chose Miramar National Cemetery after looking at several others. The setting and the cemetery itself was impressive. From the first contact with the administrators through the interment, I felt completely supported and that they truly cared about the family and loved ones. Everything that I asked to be included was carried out with dignity and honor. The bugler and Air Force color guard were impressive. The administrator who guided us through the service explained everything and welcomed our participation. We couldn't have had a better experience. We were deeply touched. Our very humble THANK YOU to all who gave my husband a wonderful final tribute.
TODAY CAME TO VISIT MY BROTHER WHO IS HERE. BEAUTIFUL DAY. TO VISIT. HE'S BEEN HERE FOR 7 YEARS. SINCE 2017. IT SURE IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. CLEAN RESTROOMS. VERY PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE.
My husband and I are veterans, so each Memorial Day, we visit a National Cemetery to honor our fallen comrades. This is our first time visiting Miramar. It is a beautiful, peaceful setting and pretty easy to drive around in. They have the grave site locator available, so it was easy to locate some friends who are buried there.
