Chaz was our agent for homebuying in San Diego this spring and summer. The market was tough with low inventory and interest rates rising but he was patient, calm, cool, and collected. Since we were first-time home buyers, we asked a lot of questions and he was super helpful in explaining how the whole process would go. Chaz is an excellent communicator and was flexible, present, and available when we needed him. We never felt pressured and could tell he definitely wanted the best for us. During the negotiation process, he was strategic and straightforward and we received more back from the seller than we expected. Working with Chaz definitely made this experience fun and we hope to work with him again in the future!
Chaz looked at homes with me for more than three years before we found this one! Patience on the front end, and a mentality that allowed for one home and site (looking for land too) after another. When it came time to do the deal, Chaz pivoted into a great negotiation. His feel netted out to a 3.5% reduction in purchase price, and 3% of reductions/credits more. Deal took two months, and I think the longest time I had to wait to hear back about something important was two hours. Chaz is detail oriented, keeps you one step ahead of what's going, and is not ultimately interested in getting the deal done - he wanted the right deal for me so we walked away from many opportunities before landing on this one, which by far was the best choice out there, and he helped me find it. Chaz is about as good and easy to work with as working with someone gets. I wish I had more homes to buy - doing business with Chaz is fun in the deeper sense of the word.
Chaz recently helped us purchase a home in Cardiff, CA, and he was absolutely fantastic! We previously worked with Z to sell our home in North Park several years ago, and we loved the McT Real Estate Group so much that we came back to work with Chaz on finding a new home up in North County. Chaz was great in helping us navigate this tough real estate market. He is incredibly responsive, insightful, and a genuinely nice person. We really cannot recommend Chaz and the entire McT group enough. Thank you!
