I wanted to donate glasses, but they don’t make that easy. I called and confirmed that they took donations by mail. I got a box, carefully packed it, and sent it to them at their 1805 Upas address. It came back returned to sender. So I called, heard they were open on Saturdays on their recording, biked about an hour, and discovered they were closed (maybe because of Veteran’s day?). Maybe the glasses donations are very valuable to them, but they should either say they don’t want glasses or else have a functional system to mailGlasses to them, or at least a Dropbox at their location. I’m sure they do great work, but this aspect of their operation needs attention.
