Ah, memories... I remember when Ico actually had a brick-and-mortar location in the early to mid-nineties (where Sherman Williams is now located, if memory serves me correctly). I would go there after school to browse the shelves, and when my mom's prayer group needed to rent a helium tank for church fiestas, we would go here. While Ico now is located inside Seafood City, and mainly dabbles in Hello Kitty and Pinoy merchandise, as well as continuing to rent out helium tanks, I still stop by to look around whenever I'm in the area. This place brings back some kick ass memories. I know they do party supplies and rentals, but back in the day... this place was the ULTIMATE Sanrio headquarters. Lets just reminisce about the Ol' Skool Crew. Lets hear it for Kerropi, Badtz Maru, Pekkle, Spottie Dottie, Hello Kitty and my personal fav, POCHACCO. I used to save up all my money and beg my mom to take me to ICO so I could blow it on those cloth Pochacco drawstring bags, notepads, mechanical pencils with Pochacco doo-hickeys, and any thing you can think of... as long as it had my dear friend Pochacco on it. If you didn't know, Pochacco is retired now. I admit, I still have a soft spot for Sanrio.... read full review
