“Our 3-year-old indoor AC/HEAT Split suddenly stopped working. We had a technician (not EVO Air) come to see what the issue was. The technician told us the problem was with both indoor and outdoor circuit boards and made us order replacement parts. Once we received the boards, the technician did not return to finish the job because he was too busy. Needless to say, it turned out there was nothing wrong with the boards!

We then called another technician (not Evo Air) to come and install the boards and he did but the unit was still not working. Not knowing what the issue was, the technician mentioned it is LIKELY that another circuit board inside the indoor unit is faulty. The technician made no efforts to diagnose and see what else may be wrong.

That is when I realized we were just wasting our time with these technicians and began to look elsewhere. My detailed search led me to Evo Air. I saw the reviews online and decided to give them a call. On short notice, Evo came to our house and began to diagnose the issues with our system. He diligently took 2.5 hours to thoroughly search for the source of the problems. He was able to pinpoint the exact cause of our problem: rodents have chewed the line sets including the communication line on the outside. I was amazed that the other technicians did not even bother to do their due diligence and find the root cause of the problem.

Moreover, he did NOT charge me a dime for 2.5 hours of his valuable time. I offered to pay him some money, but he refused to accept it. This speaks volume about the man. He is not out there to rip you off and make a quick buck.

We ended up having Evo to help us reinstall the line sets for not only the broken unit but also for a second unit that was near it. Evo and his fellow technician did a fantastic job of installation and were able to complete the job in three days.

The price Evo quoted us for the job was very fair and the quality of the job is second to none. Our units are now working seamlessly and efficiently.

“Boy oh boy! I don't know what to tell you, but if you're looking for a quality electrical company, these people are the bomb. We recently decided to put in Solar and then found out that based on our needs and the size of the solar system we wanted that are 40+ year old electrical panel would not do the job. We needed to upgrade the panel and because of new regulations in San Diego county it also had to be moved to a new location. Underground necessitated from the street to my house. All in all complex that could've been a whole lot more expensive. The crew at United was absolutely amazing to deal with honestly when they finish the work you couldn't tell that it hadn't always been that way. The panel provided a lot of other benefits as well. My circuit breakers don't flip anymore and I'm powering my house with Solar. Even during power outages. Definitely add them to your bid list for a big job. I think you'll be really pleased with the results.“

My AC went out on Monday, July 24, 2023 and every company that I called was booked solid for a week.At 2:30am on 7/26/23 I was going through other vendors on Yelp and stumbled upon Duct Dynasty. I put in a request, hoping to hear from them during normal business hours, and low and behold Brian reached out to me at 6:45am. He was able to call me and was at my house at 10:30 (between appointments) for what we hoped would be a quick job! He, and his wife Liz, worked in a heatwave+humid as all get-out, and had my AC up and running in about 20 minutes (give or take).They had the best rate ($150/hour, with a 1 hour minimum), with no requirement to do a pre-diagnostic. He was able to diagnose and repair all in the same amount of time.They are also actively quoting us a new unit, as our current unit is not kind to the California electricity costs (and made in 1996).
