I've had chronic back problems off and on for most of my life and recently injured it during exercise. Without exaggerating, it was the worst shooting pain I've been in. I went to urgent care and had imaging done and it turns out I have degenerative disc disease and L5/S1 compression on the nerve. I did not take any prescription painkillers and was in extreme pain for over two weeks, spending most of my time laying on the ground. I've seen Dr. Wu previously for my back pain and needed relief after being glued to the ground and feeling helpless. After only two sessions, I noticed a significant difference in my pain level. The relief wasn't immediate during the session, but it was noticeable a few hours later. It's honestly been a world of a difference and I am able to proceed with my day to day without the debilitating pain. As others noted, Dr. Wu doesn't do self promotion and isn't partnered with Yelp. He's a humble and kind doctor using his knowledge to heal others. I would highly recommend seeing him for pain management!Note: he moved locations, he's now in Rancho Bernardo

Went for the first time yesterday. I’ve had a hip flexor issues for years and with the first pin set I had a hot surge go up my right side of my body and today it feels noticeably better. BTW I never leave reviews but this one I had to do in case it may help someone else. I also never go to the doctor but I had to try acupuncture. First visit was great and will be going many more times.

I had a great experience here. Doctor is patient, explains everything, takes his time. He handles his own billing, which complicated insurance for me a little. But the session I received was great.
