Clean and lovely vintage shop, especially the housewares!! I saw such cool vintage and antique home decor. they also had some lovely turquoise jewelry. Such cool items with the added benefit of helping animals?

Upon entering the store a few days ago, there seemed to be a large selection of merchandise. The staff, broachers, signs, and other stationary will make sure that you aware they are not for profit (which is awesome!). The website states "Fur, Fins & Feathers is an upscale not for profit resale store" and I could not agree more. As someone who has been in the used merchandise and antiquity business for some time, I have never personally seen such "upscale" pricing in San Diego, let alone California (I visit consignment stores weekly). I truly hope it works out for this not for profit establishment, maybe I'm out of touch with University Heights pricing.

Such an amazing store. Ive always been drawn to antiques and this shop didn't disappoint. If you are looking for quality, unusual pieces...this is your store. Amazing eclectic finds. I cannot recommend enough.

Our Mission focuses on the overall betterment of all animals. Through education, rescue, rehabilitation, pollution solutions, re-purposing, and kindness. All the while, we are contributing to our animal friend’s health, wellness and quality of life. Our guiding principles center on a sustainable business plan that provides funding grants to qualified nonprofits and local animal outreach programs that directly affect our neighborhoods. We raise money through a consignment store, donations, online sales, fundraisers and educational classes. Our nonprofit storefront is a multi-use space focusing on an antique and consignment store. We will offer everything from antiques, jewelry, and art to furniture, home decor and vintage clothing.
