I have been following Dr. DeForest for the past 8 years. He's a great chiropractor. Very knowledgeable about patient injuries and health concerns, assess their physical condition and lifestyle, administer treatment, and provide advice about extended care and pain management. I get chronic headaches and back pains his adjustments definitely help.
I would recommend Dr. Deforest to anyone that has back pain, throbbing and/or numbness. My story is a 5 year story living with back pain. I jumped through all the hoops with primary doctors, waiting on referrals, waiting on insurance pre-approvals, months of physical therapy, MRI's, spinal infections (twice). Nothing of which worked.. The pain was so bad, life had no meaning. UNTIL, one day Dr. De was referred to me by a friend. My mindset was that Chiropractic medicine was a voodoo medicine and a money grab. Best darn chiropractor in all of San Diego County! Not only was he professional, but he treated us like family right from the start. Ever since I stocked drywall, I've had a pain in my left back pauldron and Dr. Deforest was the only one out of 4 different chiropractors who was able enough to adjust me so that the pain went away completely. Now I try to get an appointment every week if possible and i've been doing that for around four years now.
