Do you have a big family? Do you have folks who may not be as jazzed about a big family photo shoot? Does your family span from mid-80s to toddlers? Then Ashley is for you! She took time to understand family dynamics, who "belongs" with who, who might be camera-shy, etc. even before the shoot via a phone consultation. Her training as a marriage and family counselor helps her to understand group dynamics and strike the right balance of authoritative and warm. She ordered the shots quickly and thoughtfully, making sure to give special jobs to kids, teenagers, and folks who weren't in a specific shot to keep them engaged. So much fun shooting with Ashley. She's easy to work with, booking was straightforward. We clicked right away, felt like I've known her for years. I did three outfit changes and we shot at Broadway Pier in San Diego, off The Embarcadero. I will gladly rebook! She has a fresh, cool energy and made me feel chill the entire shoot. She scoped out the best areas around the Pier to shoot. She looked at her lighting and got some good motion shots. I was literally in heels, leaping in a cap and gown and she got the best shots.
