I have been going to L.AC Alison Schaeffer for about 6 months plus. I’m a navy vet with very bad chronic back pain amongst other injuries. This was my first time being treated by acupuncture and it has been nothing but an amazing experience. L.AC Schaeffer provided a great experience for my first session and beyond. From the first appointment, I knew that I was in great hands! Alison started treating me about 2 weeks after I was in the hospital for a flare up with my chronic pain. Some days I could barely walk and could not find relief.The office is in a great location, in addition to easy parking and an elevator if you need it. It's very peaceful and welcoming when you walk in. Each of the treatment rooms are super clean, cozy, and comfortable. Alison's experience is beyond impressive. I went to this place because I was in desperate need. I have never been to an acupuncturist before. I hate needles. I spent the night before in the ER. I had what they think was a punched nerve. Well, the session was uncomfortable - she poked me a few places and did cupping which looks like huge hockey's all over my back. But, THREE HOURS AFTER THE SESSION THE PAIN STOPPED. I have never been so happy to be all bruised up. I feel better!
